Whatever time you join, your price will be locked for as long as you choose to stay a member. Current pricing is shown on any sign up page.

All members will get access to download our own Joomla QuickStart package, which will contain not only Joomla, but also the Helix Ultimate framework (all empty and ready to work with), an unlicenced version of JoomShaper SP PageBuilder Pro (we are not legally allowed to provide a licence key) and the free version of Akeeba Backup.

Whilst you do not need to purchase your own copy of SP PageBuilder Pro, we highly recommend that you do in order to keep access to some of the advanced features, and get access to updates which will contain fixes and new features. At the time of writing, a Personal licence for SP PageBuilder Pro is $50 per annum - we provide a member-only discount code which takes 20% off this price, making it even more cost-effective. If you set up your own membership website, you will also need a $40 extension. E-commerce setup may allow for a free extension or Pro version (at a cost), depending upon what features you need.

You will also need to pay for your own domain name and hosting - this should always be in your control, and not part of the Dissolve membership, in order to be sure you are not tied to our membership once your 6-month minimum term is over. A domain name and hosting should cost you in the region of $50-100 per annum.

If you already have your domain name and hosting, you will be able to use this and not need to buy anything extra, so long as it provides the basic requirements for Joomla (php and MySql). The vast majority of hosting providers will be perfectly fine.

Building your own website with our tutorials and training will need a laptop or desktop computer running Windows or MacOS. Whilst the tools we'll be using will work on tablet and mobile phone, we do not recommend this solution and will not be able to support you. We'll be using Windows and the Edge browser in our tutorials - you will need to be using the latest version of either Edge, Chrome or Safari. There are likely no issues using Firefox, though we won't be using this browser ourselves.

For Windows users, all image editing will be taught via Paint.net - this is a fantastic free tool, which you can also purchase from the Windows Store if you prefer not to use the download option from the link above.  Similar software will exist for MacOS.

Our core membership is designed to show you how to use and get the most from the the website design tools available within the Helix Framework and JoomShaper SP PageBuilder Pro.

We will not be providing training and support for custom coding work such as CSS, HTML, php or JavaScript. Our purpose is to leave you with a website which is easy for you to support and maintain, and such custom work goes against that as we can never guarantee that the custom changes will work with future versions of Joomla, Helix and SP PageBuilder Pro. If you were ever to leave our membership, you may be left with a website that cannot be updated and may stop working properly if you were to apply the updates.

We have got plans to create a course, in the future, where this type of support may form part of the provision.

However, there are some simple CSS code snippets we have which will be shared with all members, as some straightforward design changes are easily achieved and will not affect future updates.

Whilst Dissolve will certainly teach you how to use Joomla to build great websites, it is not designed to teach you how to be a website designer or to start a web design business.

However, we are planning a specific membership plan for the future which will be focused entirely on starting and running your own website design business. There will be an upgrade path to this new course for existing members, more to be announced on this in the future - at the moment we have no planned release dates in mind.

The training and support will be focused around websites that include pages such as your home page, service pages, contact pages and a blog section.

We'll show you how and where to add your social media links, your contact details and how to link any pages together where one page needs to refer to another.
